Ans: The Startup ICT Award 2024 is open to Nepali tech-startups incorporated within the last five years, specifically from F.Y. 2076/077 onwards. Eligible startups should have demonstrated substantial institutional growth, successfully scaled their products and services, and diversified their business models. They must showcase resilience and innovation within the ICT sector, highlighting their potential impact and promising prospects in Nepal.

Ans: The Product ICT Award 2024 recognizes innovative tech products from Nepali companies or organizations. Eligible products include software, hardware, or a mix of both, launched between 14th April 2023 – 15th July 2024 (2080 Baishakh 1 – 2081 Ashar 31). These products should demonstrate how ICT positively impacts businesses or community life, aiming to showcase innovation and practical benefits to users.

Ans: The Social Innovation ICT Award 2024 celebrates innovative projects from academia, government, and NGOs that use Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to drive positive social change. Eligible initiatives should demonstrate creativity and have a measurable or potential impact in areas like education, public health, rights protection, connectivity, and inclusion. Projects must have started within the last five years, showcasing sustainability and a commitment to improving societal well-being through ICT solutions.

Ans: Previous year applicants are welcome to apply for this year’s ICT Award.

Ans: The form can be editable till the date of deadline.

Ans: There are no charges for applying to any award category. Applicants can freely apply to any category they believe they qualify for.

Ans: Nepali startups are indeed eligible and qualified to apply for the South Asia Startup ICT Award 2024. They are encouraged to showcase their innovations and contributions within the regional startup ecosystem through this category.
