The first ICT Award was held in 2016. Five awards in two categories were presented at the event held at the hall of the World Trade Center.  The award was distributed in the presence of the then Hon’ble Minister of Communications and Information Technology Sherdhan Rai.

1. Best Startup ICT Award 2016 – SastoDeal, KulTechno Lab, Nep Flights and Yellow Nepal
2. ICT Pioneer Award 2016 – Mr. Muni Bahadur Shakya
