This award aims to recognize the contribution and innovation made in information technology sector by Youths and Students. Any one who is a full time student OR an individual below 30 years (born on or after Shrawan 2050 B.S /July 1993 A.D.) is eligible to apply for this award category and can submit their academic research project or industry innovation to showcase his/her (their) contributions towards the ICT sector of Nepal. However, all the team members should comply the given criteria and the project should not be an R&D Project of any established company. 

राइजिङ स्टार इन्नोभेसन आइसिटी अवार्ड, उच्च शिक्षा तथा विश्वबिद्यालयमा अध्यनरत विद्यार्थीहरू वा प्रविधि क्षेत्रमा राम्रो काम सुरुवात गर्नुभएका ३० वर्षसम्मका युवाहरुको लागि लक्षित छ । यस विधामा विद्यार्थी वा ३० वर्षसम्मका युवाले बनाएका आइटी प्रडक्ट,  इन्डस्ट्री इन्नोभेसन,  कलेजको आर एण्ड डी प्रोजेक्ट तथा इन्नोभेटिभ आइडियाको प्रोटोटाइपलाई समावेश गर्न सकिन्छ । बिद्यार्थी समुह (बढीमा ४ जना) वा व्यक्ति एक्लै पनि यो विधामा नोमिनेशन दर्ता गर्न योग्य रहनेछन ।
