Digital addressing system (Kataho)

Kataho Digital Address System addresses the challenge of unaddressed locations in Nepal, where many in rural and marginalized communities lack formal addresses. It creates precise digital addresses, generating over 16 billion unique offline addresses for homes, businesses, and landmarks. These addresses are easily shareable and searchable, integrated into mobile and web platforms to facilitate access to essential services like healthcare and government aid. By improving access and promoting social equity, Kataho has the potential to transform Nepalese society, particularly for underserved groups.

Ekagajpatra

Ekagajpatra is a government service improver focused on streamlining public services through technology. They conduct continuous R&D across government departments to identify challenges faced by the public in Nepal. Their platform provides legal and procedural learning videos to aid in regulatory compliance and government processes. Additionally, users can generate government documents in native languages by typing in English, thanks to an integrated translation feature.

GeoKrishi

GeoKrishi is a digital agriculture platform that supports commercial and smallholder farmers by providing timely, actionable advisories across the crop value chain. It features five tailored digital tools for farmers, technicians, and input suppliers, delivering essential information on weather, market prices, and management practices. By collaborating with community organizations, GeoKrishi ensures that services reach farmers and promotes access to agricultural inputs and financial resources. The platform emphasizes climate resilience and social inclusion, with E-Chautari serving as a physical space for farmers with limited connectivity to access vital services.

LMC Alert

The LMC app allows users in Lalitpur Metropolitan City to quickly send disaster alerts or complaints to the City Police Department in just three taps. Users can report up to 21 different incidents, such as fire, ambulance, sewage issues, garbage, illegal parking, and more. Alerts can be sent with or without a contact number and image, all anonymously. The app operates both online and offline, ensuring continuous service for instant reporting to the police.

Safa Nepal

“Safa Nepal” is an open-data waste management and data collection system that includes a web-based dashboard and mobile application. It enables local governments to conduct evidence-based analysis of waste-related data, provides waste collection and management information, and allows citizens to report waste dumping, burning, and irregular collection services. The platform offers reliable operational data to support waste management efforts and drive necessary reforms in the sector.
